| We have created four self-running demonstrations for you. They show the actual software at work, with text balloons explaining what is going on. You can watch them right here inside your web browser. You do not need to download and install anything. No-Questions-Asked Installation (29 sec.). This demo shows a setup program created with DeployMaster being run by a computer novice, who wants to install the software with a minimum of fuss. Advanced Options Installation (1'26"). This demo shows the same setup program being run by a computer expert, who wants full control over the installation. Building a Setup Package with DeployMaster (8'04"). This demonstration, even if it is only 8 minutes long, shows all the steps involved in creating a basic but complete installation program with DeployMaster. (Packaging an actual self-contained application would take about 30 minutes, including testing.) Quick Overview of Building a Setup Package with DeployMaster (3'15"). A shorter version of the above demo. All the steps are still shown, but the commentary has been greatly reduced. If you want to try running the setup program used in the demos yourself, feel free to download EditPad Lite and install it. This will also give you the opportunity to test the uninstall functionality of DeployMaster, which will remove all traces of EditPad Lite (and your software, when you use DeployMaster) from your computer. |
These self-running demonstrations show DeployMaster 3. The latest version is DeployMaster 4 which has several new features, including support for 64-bit applications. The basic design of the product is the same. Everything shown here with DeployMaster 3 can be done with DeployMaster 4. We'll publish new self-running demonstrations showing DeployMaster 4 in a few weeks. Meanwhile, you can download the trial version to give DeployMaster 4 a spin. |
